The Breadwinner Podcast

In each episode, we talk to a guest about how they’re responding to the latest business challenges with their technology investment in powerhouse CRM and ERP platforms like Salesforce and NetSuite.

About The Breadwinner Podcast

As the global economy faces increasing pressures from factors like inflation, the war in Europe, the effects of the pandemic, supply chain disruption, the Great Resignation, and new environmental, social, and governance imperatives, we try to uncover how the market is responding. Breadwinner is out talking to clients, partners, and technical folks every day about these topics. So we thought we’d record and share some of those conversations here.

These episodes are brought to you by Breadwinner, who (in full disclosure) do provide products that integrate Salesforce with ERP platforms like NetSuite, accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks as

well as payment providers like Square, Stripe, and Braintree.

But the purpose of this podcast isn’t to sell products. Feel free to visit www.breadwinner.com if you’d like to know more about these. We hope you find these discussions informative and insightful no matter your buying intentions.

As the global economy evolves, we find ourselves, our clients, and the wider community striving to achieve more with less. Hopefully, these discussions provide food for thought on how modern businesses and the people that lead them are thinking about this challenge.

Breadwinner, CEO | Curt Hopmann

April 28: Curt discusses how the integration technology market is shaping up in these more challenging times. He considers where the market is at on the "S-curve" after 20 years of growth. With the pandemic condensing a decade of digital transformation into 18 months he argues that the pendulum is now swinging from "greed to fear" as CFO's take on more power to focus on "what to sell and who to sell to" without endless topline growth and fewer resources available to them. He concludes that most businesses in these times need to use integration technology as a "time factory" to achieve more with less from their key CRM and ERP technology investments.
